Removal of PhD Requirement for Vice Chancellor Will Lower Educational Standards : Jamaat-e-Islami

Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer, Muneem Zafar Khan, has condemned the Sindh government’s decision to remove the PhD requirement for Vice Chancellors, stating it will lower educational standards. He warned that the move would promote favoritism and allow favored bureaucrats to take leadership positions, undermining the autonomy of universities.
