World Bank Allocated Rs 29.2 Billion for Karachi’s Solid Waste Infrastructure

ECNEC, under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, approved 10 development projects worth Rs. 172.7 billion. These include a World Bank-funded Rs. 29.2 billion initiative to develop Karachi’s solid waste infrastructure. Additional approvals were granted for six key projects across health, agriculture, energy, and transport sectors, totaling Rs. 178.1 billion.
