Rise of Donald Trump From Real Estate Magnate to U.S. President

Donald Trump, born on June 14, 1946, in New York, is the son of prominent New York real estate developer Fred Trump. In 1971, he assumed control of the family business, expanding its scope to include hotels, resorts, and large-scale residential and commercial properties.

In 1987, Trump published his first book, The Art of the Deal, which became widely recognized. He also entered the entertainment industry, hosting a popular reality television show that furthered his public presence. Throughout his career, he faced allegations related to personal conduct, including accusations of sexual misconduct and extramarital relationships.

Trump won the 2016 U.S. presidential election, defeating Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, and became known for his extensive use of social media, particularly Twitter, to communicate directly with the public.

During his administration, Trump took significant and controversial foreign policy actions, such as relocating the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a move that drew strong reactions from the Palestinian community, and facilitating normalization agreements between Israel and several Arab nations.

In the 2020 presidential race, Trump was succeeded by Democratic nominee Joe Biden, who won the election.
