Fazlur Rehman Proposes Normalizing Relations with PTI for a Positive Shift in Political Landscape

JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that the government is moving forward with new legislation, which he views as a disregard for the 26th Constitutional Amendment.

He highlighted that amendments to the Anti-Terrorism Act are being introduced, which once again delegate powers to defense institutions that fall outside their mandate.

In response to a question, Maulana Fazlur Rehman remarked that both Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are opposition parties. He added that if relations with PTI could be normalized despite past disagreements, it would signify a constructive shift in political dynamics.

He also outlined the schedule for his upcoming programs.
