Pakistan’s Textile Exports Surge to 26-Month High with 13% Increase Amidst Political Uncertainty in Bangladesh

Pakistan’s Textile Exports Reach a 26-Month High, with a 13% Increase Driven by Additional Orders
Positive news for the Pakistani economy emerges as the textile sector reports a notable increase in exports.
In the first three months of the year, exports have risen by 13% compared to the same period last year.
Pakistan has begun to receive additional orders due to the prevailing political uncertainty in Bangladesh.
This situation is not only benefiting Pakistan but also India and Vietnam.
However, the textile sector could have been in an even stronger position had the cotton crop in Pakistan been more favorable. Due to the underwhelming cotton yield, Pakistan will need to import a substantial amount of cotton.
