A meeting of the Engineering Department, chaired by the Mayor of Karachi, took place to address these concerns.
Wahab announced that KMC is set to receive Rs. 11 billion annually for the development program, along with Rs. 3 billion from tax revenue.
He directed that road repair work be expedited, ensuring that contracts are awarded only to contractors who meet quality standards.
He stressed that all contracts must be granted strictly on merit, with no tolerance for favoritism or recommendations.
