Passport Demand Skyrockets: Ministry of Interior Receives 50,000 Applications Daily, Processing Only 22,000

According to Daily Jang, the Ministry of Interior has stated that they receive 45,000 to 50,000 passport applications daily. However, they have the capacity to process only 20,000 to 22,000 passports. There is some delay in issuing normal passports, but once new printers are installed, the backlog will be cleared.
