According to Geo News, 83 million Pakistanis were affected by the shutdown.
The total duration of the shutdown was 259 hours.
Interestingly, Pakistan ranks seventh in terms of financial losses in the last fiscal year. Statista, a German online institution specializing in data collection, provided these statistics.
Russia tops the list in terms of financial losses, where the internet service was down for 1,350 hours, with an estimated loss of 4 billion dollars.
