Jamaat-e-Islami Announces Nationwide Strike for August 28

The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, has announced a nationwide strike on August 28. He also declared support for the traders’ strike.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman mentioned the reduction in electricity prices in Punjab and stated that relief should be extended nationwide. He emphasized that every clause of the agreement must be implemented.
He noted that there are now only 37 days left, not 45. If the government does not meet all their demands within this period, a long march will be organized. People will come from all over the country, and the strike will take place.
