Pakistan Marks 77 Years Since Independence: Economy Grows from $3 Billion to $375 Billion

Pakistan has completed 77 years since its establishment. On August 14, 1947, when Pakistan came into existence, the size of its economy was 3 billion dollars.
Today, 77 years later, Pakistan’s economy has grown to 375 billion dollars.
In 1947, the exchange rate of the dollar was 3.30 rupees, which has now increased to 278 rupees.
The Pakistani economy is currently facing a severe crisis and is part of an IMF program.
