Trader Community Announces Support for Islamabad Sit-in

The trader community has announced its support for the Islamabad sit-in.
Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a sit-in at D-Chowk on July 26 against expensive electricity and heavy taxes.
Representatives of the trader community participated in the traders’ convention held in Karachi.
In their speeches, the speakers announced their support for the sit-in and demanded a strike as well.
Trader leader Atiq Mir told the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, “Hafiz Sahib, the entire trader community of the country is with you.”
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that if the government tries to stop the sit-in, it could also turn into a “government ousting movement.”
