Mufti Taqi Usmani Urges Public and Traders to Reject Imported Goods to Halt Foreign Exchange Drain

Renowned scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has called for a decisive shift away from using imported products, suggesting that if traders and consumers collectively opt against these goods, their import will cease. Speaking at a press conference, Usmani criticized the reliance on international financial institutions like the IMF, questioning the lack of natural resources in the country and probing the root causes of the economic challenges. He also addressed the recurring issue of election rigging allegations, noting that they lead to demands for new elections.
