Dr. Aafia Siddiqui Allegedly Forced to Read Bible in U.S. Prison, Ansar Abbasi

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is being forced to read the Bible in an American prison, according to an article by Ansar Abbasi. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s sister, Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui, recently met with her. In his article published in the Daily Jang, Ansar Abbasi revealed that despite being a Muslim, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is being forced to read the Bible. When Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui visited her sister in the American prison, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was holding a Bible. She appeared very frightened and told her sister, who had come from Pakistan to visit, to listen to the Bible before speaking. A few days ago, Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui contacted me and informed me about the cruel treatment her sister is enduring in prison in the U.S. Their meeting on May 31 and June 1 was conducted as usual with a thick glass wall between them. Dr. Fowzia returned to Pakistan on June 10.
