Another Electric Shock to the Public As Govt. Increased the basic electricity tariff by 7 rupees and 12 paisa per unit

According to Dawn News, the federal cabinet has increased the basic tariff for electricity by Rs. 7.12 per unit.
This increase has been made in accordance with IMF conditions.
After adding sales tax and adjustments, the maximum unit price could exceed Rs. 65.
