The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a heatwave alert for several districts across Sindh, with temperatures expected to rise 5-7°C above normal this week. Key areas, including Larkana, Jacobabad, and Karachi, are at risk of prolonged hot and dry conditions, while southern Sindh may also experience gusty winds. PMD has advised the public to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure, and take precautions, particularly between 11 am and 4 pm, to mitigate health risks.
