26th Constitutional Amendment Passed by National Assembly; PTI-Backed Members Support, Signed into Law by President

The 26th Constitutional Amendment has been successfully passed by the National Assembly, with the support of four PTI-backed members, and has been signed into law by the President.
Following approval by both the Senate and the National Assembly, the President of Pakistan has officially signed the 26th Constitutional Amendment into law.
The Senate recorded 65 votes in favor of the amendment, with 4 votes against it.
In the National Assembly, the amendment was passed by a significant majority of 225 votes. The support of four PTI-aligned independent members and a PML-Q member facilitated the government’s efforts, leading to the smooth passage of the amendment.
President Asif Ali Zardari has formally signed the amendment into law.
