Pakistan suffered a heavy defeat in the Multan Test, losing by an innings and 47 runs, despite posting a formidable total of 556 in their first innings.
In the second innings, the team was bowled out for 220, with Jack Leach taking four wickets. Aamir Jamal stood out with a top score of 55 runs.
England had declared their first innings at 823 for seven wickets, highlighted by Harry Brook’s remarkable triple century.
This loss makes Pakistan the first team in Test cricket history to lose a match after scoring more than 550 runs in their first innings.
