The government has resolved to shut down five Independent Power Producers (IPPs) as part of its energy sector reforms, while negotiations with approximately 100 other IPPs are still ongoing.
According to reports from Geo News, discussions with all IPPs have not yet been finalized, but many have demonstrated a flexible approach towards reducing their profit margins.
