Record-Breaking Rains: Sindh Sees 318% Increase in August Precipitation

In Sindh, there was 318% more rainfall than usual in August, says DG Met.
DG Met, Meher Sahibzada Khan, stated in a press conference in Islamabad that overall, the country experienced 60% more rainfall than usual in August.
He mentioned that in Sindh, rainfall in August was 318% above normal.
In Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rainfall was as per usual.
He also reported that a cyclone formed yesterday near the sea close to Karachi and Gwadar in the south.
