Government Launches VPN Licensing Service for Legal Business Use

The government has launched a licensing service to legalize VPN use for businesses, with PTA issuing licenses to two companies. This initiative ensures secure and legal online access while enhancing data security and privacy. Pakistan also plans to expand its internet network with a 26.5 Tbps cable project. Meanwhile, the National Telecom & IT Security Board has warned about cyber threats, highlighting the risk of data theft through browser extensions.
