Cement Prices Drop in Pakistan Amid Market Adjustments

Cement prices in Pakistan have declined to Rs1,390 per bag for top brands, driven by shifting market demand, improved imports, and better steel availability. Consumers can avail a 30% discount through the Ehsaas Program’s 8171 portal. Meanwhile, cement exports surged by 23.21% in the first half of FY 2024-25, reaching $167.47 million, with volume rising 33.82% year-on-year. December 2024 saw a 45.47% increase in exports, reflecting strong international demand.
