Quaid-e-Azam University Ranks Among Top 500 in World University Rankings 2025

A total of 47 Pakistani universities have made it to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2025, with Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad leading the nation. Oxford remains in the top spot for the ninth consecutive year, while MIT surpasses Stanford to claim second. China’s universities continue to strengthen their global research influence, and new countries, including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, have entered the top 200, signaling a shift in higher education power.
