Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation has recorded a 65% increase in its monthly revenue, now exceeding 1.86 billion rupees.
According to Jang, a spokesperson for the Water Corporation reported that prior to Syed Salahuddin Ahmed assuming office in September 2022, the corporation’s monthly revenue stood at 1.10 billion rupees. This figure has now surpassed 1.86 billion rupees.
Over the span of two years, the Water Corporation’s monthly revenue has shown an impressive growth of 760 million rupees.
However, despite this significant financial improvement, concerns remain regarding the persistent sewage issues across the city.
