Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Receives 4.5 Billion Rupees from Sindh Government Under Provincial Development Program

Murtaza Wahab announced that this year, 10 billion rupees will be secured from the Sindh government to facilitate development projects in neighborhoods and localities.

He emphasized that positive changes in Karachi are becoming evident, with each Union Council (UC) receiving monthly funding of 1.2 million rupees.

In the past year, the Sindh government has allocated 4.5 billion rupees to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) as part of the provincial development program.

“Our objective is to establish the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) as a financially independent entity.”
