Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi’s Ameer, Munim Zafar Khan, accompanied by a delegation, met with the Deputy Managing Director of Sui Southern Gas Company, Saeed Rizvi, to address critical concerns regarding gas load-shedding, increasing tariffs, and excessive billing impacting the city. Munim Zafar Khan pointed out that Sui Southern Gas Company, akin to K-Electric, has introduced additional charges for consumers under various pretexts. He urged the company to invest in upgrading its aging infrastructure, ensure a consistent gas supply for Karachi’s residents, and resolve recurring issues of overbilling and service complaints.
