Former Cricketers Weigh in on Babar Azam’s Decision to Step Down as White-Ball Captain

Former cricketers have been sharing their insights on Babar Azam’s decision to relinquish the white-ball cricket captaincy.
Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram remarked that stepping down from leadership will relieve Babar Azam of undue pressure, enabling him to concentrate more on his batting.

Akram further noted that Babar likely made this decision after thorough consultation, emphasizing that such choices are never easy. He expressed his full support for Babar Azam.
Additionally, Akram mentioned that Babar will now be able to fully focus on his batting and rediscover his enjoyment of the game.
