Hafiz Naeem Urges Government to Issue Notification for Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s Appointment as Chief Justice

Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, expressed via Twitter that the government should promptly issue the notification confirming the appointment of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah as the Chief Justice. He pointed out that the notification for Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s appointment as Chief Justice was released three months ago. Furthermore, he emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami firmly rejects the proposed constitutional amendment, warning that those who support it will tarnish their own reputations.
