K-Electric persists with prolonged outages: extended load shedding during high temperatures, nighttime power cuts, and citizens enduring hardships despite paying substantial bills.
As the temperature rises, load shedding has intensified. K-Electric has imposed power outages at night in several areas across Karachi.
According to Express News, the duration of load shedding has stretched to as much as 10 hours in certain parts of the city.
The affected areas include Korangi, Landhi, PIB Colony, Surjani, Liaquatabad, SITE Area, Baldia, and Keamari, among others.
Residents express frustration, stating that despite paying premium rates for electricity, a consistent power supply has not been ensured.
