In an earlier interview, PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan had expressed a desire to engage in dialogue with the establishment.
Speaking to a journalist at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, Imran Khan clarified that after the rally on September 8th, he had explicitly stated that PTI would not pursue any negotiations.
He briefly addressed the media.
PTI has also reiterated its plan to hold a public rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
