By 2030, 50% of Vehicles in Pakistan Will Be Electric
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has announced that by 2030, 50% of the cars purchased in Pakistan will be electric.
According to Urdu News, citing Reuters, BYD and its partner company in Pakistan, Mega Motors, plan to set up an assembly plant in Pakistan by 2026.
After launching three car models in August, sales are expected to begin by the end of this year.
Initially, BYD Pakistan will sell fully assembled vehicles.
