Deep Depression May Evolve into Cyclone ‘Asna,’ Heavy Downpour Expected in Karachi

Heavy Rainfall Forecast in Karachi, Deep Depression Likely to Turn into Cyclone ‘Asna’
The Meteorological Department has stated that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi within the next 24 hours.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz mentioned that there is a likelihood of the deep depression developing into a cyclone.
If it turns into a cyclone, it will be named ‘Asna.’
This name, ‘Asna,’ has been suggested by Pakistan, and it means “higher” or “elevated.”
It is quite unusual for a cyclone to form during the monsoon season.
