Karachi’s Water Crisis: 5 Days Without Relief, Tanker Mafia Profiteering

In Karachi, the water supply system has still not been restored after 5 days. Express News reports that after pipelines burst in Dhabeji, residents in various areas are yearning for every drop of water.
Repair work on the pipelines has begun.
The Water Corporation claims that the city’s water supply is functioning normally.
According to Express, water supply from 7 government hydrants is also very low, leading to the flourishing of the private tanker mafia, which is providing water at exorbitant rates.
