Delay in K-IV Project: Sindh High Court Issues Notices Over Federal Funding Hold-Up

Funds of 16 Billion for the K-IV Water Project Could Not Be Released; Federal and Provincial Governments Issued Notices
According to Daily Jang, the Sindh High Court has issued notices to the federal and provincial governments for not releasing 16 billion funds for the K-IV project, seeking a response at the next hearing.
The petition argues that the federal government was supposed to provide 16 billion funds for the K-IV project, but delays from the federal government have caused the project to be delayed.
The K-IV project was intended to provide Karachi with 250 million gallons of water.
