
According to a report published in Dunya newspaper, it has been revealed that the contract for the Malir Expressway project was allegedly awarded to a fraudulent company.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Transparency International stated that the contract for the Malir Expressway project was allegedly given to a fraudulent company.
It was claimed that a private company and the Sindh government’s procurement department colluded to award the contract.
At the time of the bidding for the project, the private company did not even exist.
According to Transparency International, a company that is not registered cannot be eligible for the contract.
