Awais Leghari Clarifies: Electricity Prices Decreased by 77 Paisas, Misleading Claims Refuted

The electricity price did not increase yesterday; rather, it decreased by 77 paisas. A false impression is being created through propaganda, says Awais Leghari.
Electricity consumers will receive a relief of 77 paisas in August compared to July.
In July bills, the fuel price adjustment was Rs. 3.33 per unit, which has decreased to Rs. 2.56 per unit in August bills.
The increase will not apply to lifeline consumers and K-Electric consumers.
Chairman of the Task Force and Federal Minister Awais Leghari has responded to the news circulating on social media.
Awais Leghari said that the electricity price did not increase yesterday; instead, it decreased by 77 paisas. Some elements are trying to spread despair.
