NEPRA Confirms Overbilling Involvement by K-Electric and Other Distribution Companies

K-Electric Involved in ‘Overbilling’: NEPRA Confirms
NEPRA has confirmed that K-Electric, along with all other electricity distribution companies, has been involved in overbilling, according to a report presented to NEPRA.
Dawn News reports that NEPRA has sought explanations from all companies regarding the overbilling.
A report by NEPRA officials on the issue of excessive billing received by consumers has been presented to the authority.
The report pertains to the issue of overbilling from April to June 2024.
NEPRA has asked for an explanation from K-Electric and all other electricity distribution companies regarding the overbilling.
