Government Expected to Approve Additional Rs. 2.63 per Unit Increase in Electricity Prices

In a recent development, the Central Purchasing Power Agency (CPPA) has submitted a revised request to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) seeking an increase of Rs. 2.63 per unit in electricity tariffs. This follows an earlier request for a Rs. 2.10 per unit increase. Should the request be approved, a formal notification of the price hike will be issued.
