Renowned scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has called for a decisive shift away from using imported products, suggesting that if traders and consumers collectively opt against these goods, their import will cease. Speaking at a press conference, Usmani criticized the reliance on international financial institutions like the IMF, questioning the lack of natural resources in the country and probing the root causes of the economic challenges.
