In response to the Supreme Court’s decision, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has called for the resignation of the Election Commission. He highlighted that the ruling reveals the duplicity of certain political parties who have been occupying seats through illegitimate means, contrary to the public’s will. Rehman emphasized that a judicial commission should be established to rectify these issues and restore national and provincial assembly seats to their rightful recipients based on Form 45 evidence.
